Keith left the team today to start his journey home. He had a full morning, that included an appointment in the centre of Curitiba and spending time in each of the houses to say goodbye.
At Casa Branca the children had great fun using coloured tissue paper, foam shapes and bugs. they created a variety of cards, posters for their rooms which they fixed photographs on and making posters which declared Brasil World Champions!!!! Then they made a selection of paper boats, they quickly picked up the art of paper folding.
Good news mattresses arrived today as promised by supplier! They are already on 7 of the children`s beds, not before time as they were desperately needed.

Friday afternoon the team took off for Bombinhas - this was a small seaside town in a tropical setting behind a silver sand bay. Our Pousada or small hotel was built around and among established trees. Some of these had "pods" hanging about 5 times as large as runner beans.
We were glan to relax on Saturday browsing the shops in the morning and visiting a surf beach in the afternoon. Four members of the team tested the water two of them surfing. The sea was quite rough. Fine weather for which we are thankful.
Sunday morning we set off for "Joinville" a 2 hour drive. Keith was speaking at the church there. We were made very welcome and had some lunch with them before making our way to the airport to drop off Mark.
Keith has been able to shop for the "wish" list in the houses, basics which we take for granted but are a real benefit to the families.

At Casa Dourado "the artists" were at work. To bless Jhonathan it was decided to decorate his bedroom, colour and pictures chosen by him.
Walls were painted blue then a red V.W. beetle, yellow house with brown roof and blue door, and a tree were added. His namae was painted on the wall and a framed photo will be added as soon as possible.
Darcy looked after "the artists providing lunch and cups of tea and coffee - very welcome.

John and Chan spent the day at the Vila, VFC Community Centre. The morning was spent with the children helping them to make pictures to place in the VFC album, each child made a lovely picture. We helped Darla clear and prepare the hall for the afternoon session. Chan also had a short game of volley ball with the girls. The afternoon session was ballet lessons. The children were delighted to see us again and we had 10 minutes talking with them before the teacher arrived. It was such a great pleasure to watch them dance.

The soil and grass arrived!!! Jackson along with a team member spread soil and laid grass.

Two schools were visited today the first contacts which eventually may lead to twinning schools in the UK with schools in Brasil.
